Start with the activity
A goal might be getting up from the floor, using stairs, keeping up in the playground or joining a sport. Assessment then identifies the physical skills most likely to help.
Make practice achievable
Programs work best when the exercises are understandable, appropriately challenging and realistic to repeat between sessions. Interests, fatigue, environment and support needs all matter.
Measure what matters
Progress may include stronger test results, improved movement quality, needing less assistance, completing an activity for longer or participating with greater confidence.
